Seefeel- Quique redux jobbie (2 CD set on Too Pure)

OK so it's not new. It is in fact 14 years old and to celebrate it's majesticness Too Pure have re- released it all fancily re-mastered with a bonus disc featuring unreleased tracks and some rare things. I was working in a record shop in Leeds when this was released and I remember getting well excited about it. Hey now I can get all excited about it once again. Quique is a fantastic album from start to finish. Sheer bliss in fact.... The early pioneers of shoegazing electronics this is perfect blissful music for indie kids and electronic heads all over the world. There's some cracking dubby basslines, beautiful drifting melodies and just a general fantastic vibe going through out the whole album. Some of you will have this already and I can say it's worth getting for the bonus disc as well which features some cool unreleased things on there. From this they went onto do albums for Warp and Rephlex. Aphex Twin was a massive fan (he remixed Time To Find Me by 'em).... Check this out and see what the crack was about. I think it's top! - Phil

What their label says...

Seefeel’s landmark 1993 debut album, melding mesmerizing guitars with electronic loops and beats that appealed to techno-heads and indie kids alike. Remastered with an additional disc of rarities.    ‘Quique’ is regarded by many as their finest work and has become both a landmark and collectible record. It’s long been deleted but good news arrives in Too Pure and the band joining forces to finally reissue it; it’s been digitally remastered, given a 21st century facelift and had an extra disc of mostly unreleased material added.A document of its time, ‘Quique’ returns to the shelves in a brand new Redux Edition and still has that charm, incredible craft and density to keep the existing fans happy and should also win over a whole new audience.
