‘Heartland’ is Client’s third album, and the formula is still based around minimalistic electronic music, but has taken a rather more electro pop direction on this release, thanks to Youth and Stephen Hague sharing the production credits. The album features vocals from Tim Burgess of The Charlatans and guitars from Simon Tong (Gorillaz, The Good The Bad & The Queen). Preceding single ‘Drive’ has just been confirmed to feature in new film ‘Raman Girl’, starring Brittany Murphy and scheduled for release later this year; and album track ‘6 In The Morning’ is to feature in television show ‘The L Word’.
