Camera Obscura are back with a new CD and 7" hilariously titled Tears For Affairs. I remember going to see Tears For Fears years ago at Manchester Apollo when I was a nipper. Lordy that was great... I remember standing up and applauding at the end.... am sure there were tears as well. I can't remember that well. Anyhoo those who know Camera Obscura know they make the finest brand of sweet indie pop this side of Sweden. This bouncy fun number is more sugaryness which makes me want to be un naturally happy and hurl myself around sweet shops. lovely.

What their label says...
'Tears For Affairs' is the fourth single to be released from Camera Obscura's acclaimed album 'Let's Get Out Of This Country'. Tracaynne Campbell: "When it was written I fantasised about it getting on to some kind of David Lynch soundtrack because it's a bit sleazy..." The 7" vinyl version features a cover of ABBA song "Super Trouper". Camera Obscura performed a version of this on the Dermot O' Leary Show on BBC Radio 2 & it became the most requested session of 2006. cds b/w: CD - The Last Song 7" b/w Super Trouper
