THE RAKES are back with a new single and to be honest I kind of wished they hadn't. Never been a massive fan but I did like their first single. We Dance Together is a slab of radio friendly indie pop which is all over the airwaves at the mo and I can't believe folks are still buying it to be honest....
The Rakes release their 2nd album Ten New Messages on 19th March preceeded by the single We Danced Together. They also announce their biggest ever UK tour. The album produced by Jim Abiss (Arctic Monkey’s, Editors, Kasabian) and Brendan Lynch (Primal Scream) was recorded in Mayfair Studios, The Chapel, and West Point in London in the autumn of 2006 and is the follow up to the bands debut, silver album, Capture/Release.
