Here I have the new single from the SHINS called Phantom Limp. With 2 albums on Sub Pop under their belt now they're fighting in the Transgressive corner. We got proper stitched up by the distributors here and we wont be able to fulfil all our pre orders for the limited one sided version. Anyway t'other single is available with their Belle and Sebastian sounding twee pop. I've heard better form the boys and its drifts along without ever kicking ass or pulling teeth. B side sounds a bit like Ah ha. which aint a bad thing. nice enough.. probably a grower.

Phantom Limbs is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming third album 'Wincing The Night Away'. Released on three formats - a CD and two very limited 7" vinyls, Phantom Limbs is released on 22nd January 2007, It arrives at the start of 2007 as a co-release between the classic, long-established Sub Pop and the UK’s most important new label / long-standing Shins obsessives, Transgressive Records, in a unique, unprecedented partnership. After two sold out shows at Koko in summer ’06, the band will return in March/April for a full UK tour.
