You know, I've never really loved CAMERA OBSCURA.. I think they're really
good but I've never bought their stuff... However that's all until this new 7"
plopped in my lap... and suddenly it all makes wonderful sense. Motown inspired,
its a beautifully happy bouncing jaunt that has a wonderful twist of nostalgia
that makes you sigh deeply and fully. They sound a bit like the Pipettes but
have achieved a more authentic and effortless beauty that makes me put my hair
in a bee hive and do the twist..... Groovy!!! A sides "If looks could kill"
and when the final chorus kicks in it puts all life's bits of shitiness in the
shade... my single of the week for sure!!!
