COOPER's new EP "Días De Cine" ("Cinema Days") is four new songs, all on a cinema theme, of tasty guitar pop. Wrapped in an typically elegant Elefant cover featuring Catherine Deneuve and her ex husband David Bailey, the EP opens with the song "El Sur", a song alternating quiet moments of space and silence with noisier parts full of overdriven guitar intensity. Two more cinematic tracks: 'Rain Man', with guitars that could belong to Teenage Fanclub, and 'Un Día De Furia', (the Spanish title of 'Falling Down') with catchy distorted synthesizer riffs. As a bonus track, COOPER add a cover version of "Where I Find My Heaven", a guitar pop classic from the Gigolo Aunts. "Días De Cine" is four three-minute pop songs filled with hummable melodies, infectious rhythms and dreamy lyrics.
