Some of the bits from last week which arrived and were criminally ignored
for starters. Hood then. After a gruelling whirlwind tour of the
US the sweet young boys are about to embark on a tour of the European
Union. Here we have a 4 track CD single with a bonus CD Rom at the end
(Hood do pop video...). You've got a crunchy beat, some nice jangly guitar,
lovely electronic melodies and if all of that wasn't enough there's some
. vocals too. This is great hybrid of indie and electronica mixed up right
lovely like and it smells just like pop. Imagine a really good cup of
tea with all the ingredients put in the right amounts and at the right
time. It's something like this. The rest of the EP is more of the same
but much less poppy and more experimental. Painting The Town Dead is old
school Hood ie more lofi. enough of that. It's very good anyway..... You Show No Emotion is CD only
Love this record? Hate it? Tell us.
