We got a wicked package from the good people of Dual Plover in upside down world (Australia) yesterday that was just bursting with all kinds of weird and wonderful audio delights. One that I think will appeal to lots of you out there is the Excellent DEERHOOF live album 'Koalamagic'. Phil and myself saw these play a bit ago and from what I can remember they were great. The CD documents their live sound accurately with the stop start rhythms, metallic screeching guitars and complex rhythms. At times reminding me of the punkier side of the Boredoms before they went all psychedelic. Coolio.
