Also there on that there label is a full length CD by THE LOW LOWS. It's echo laden sad dreamy pop with Velvets/Yo La Tengo touches & that strange disembodied vocal that My Morning Jacket usually employ. In fact, I feel fans of T 'Jacket may well be into 'Fire on the Bright Sky' so we'll leave it at that as I'm running short of time. Recommended .I really love the organ & lo-fi production but think that the ultimate comparison is Galaxie 500, a band I'm not over familiar with! (thanks Phil)

What their label says...

"Fire On The Bright Sky is the debut album from The Low Lows, an Athens GA trio formed from the embers of the critically acclaimed NYC dream-pop quartet Parker & Lily after Lily Wolfe’s resignation in 2005. It’s a radiant, desperate prom-night of a record, in which stark southern sweetness gives way unexpectedly to great storms of guitar noise. Sheets of dissonance and singer P.L. Noon's arcing wail conjure Galaxie 500 or Electr-O-Pura era Yo La Tengo, while bright walls of country narcosis à la My Morning Jacket crumble into climactic, stomping feedback and lush, sad balladry
