More goodness. We were toying with giving this next thing single/ album of of
the week but we couldn't work out what it was so we gave up. It's a triple CD
set by TRIPLANETARY which is some dude who used to be in The Lazily
Spun (on Earworm). This is one crazy schizoid beast. It's like an entire
record collection spread over 3 discs... the range of musical styles and
inventiveness on offer here is really quite remarkable. I believe this was due
to come out on Earworm but I might be making that up. It's described as
'psychedelic electro folk sampletronic free jazz'... I'd say there's a fair
wedging of electronica, dub and indie chucked in as well. It's all over the
place and over the course of the 3 discs it's a hugely coherent mess of ideas
and trickery which works very well. We're the only place stocking these at the
mo and there ain't too many of 'em. It's long 'n all! Frith!
