Here is a new cd and 7" release from THE BOYFRIENDS  which is making the whole office groan. It is a bit of a groan-tastic "moan along" with Morrissey tones running through its veins. Cut it and it would bleed melancholy.  Their obvious Morrissey comparisons recently got them a supporting slot on his European tour so he must be a fan, and maybe you are too so here is their 3rd single and long may they bring the Norman records team to angry tears. Well done lads!! (remember Bradford? These are Barnoldswick x Brian)

once upon a time The Boyfriends release their third single, "Once Upon A Time" on September 25th. This is taken from their self -titled debut album, which will be released on October 2nd through Boobytrap Records. According to singer Martin Wallace the songs underlying theme is how difficult it is sometimes to leave people behind, however necessary it might be.
