I remember going to buy Frosch by MOUSE ON MARS when it came out. Ah them
were the days. I actually went into record shops then. I miss that..... there
will come a time when there are no record shops left aside from those horrid big
faceless chains with bored people laughing at you cos they've nothing better to
do. They spit on your change you know.. (joke). It's a dreadful shame..... Mind
you I suppose the internet is the natural evolution for us little shops to move
to. Hey we've just had a rainbow in the office. I kid you not. Seriously it's
amazing! I digress... new Mouse on Mars CD on Ipecac called Varcharz. We've
always thought they were a bit tapped and this confirms and carries on the whole
tapped thing. Bonkers, funked up, electronic booty shaking bouncy crunch affair.
Their sound is always so full sounding... maybe it's the way it's been mastered?
They know their electronics in Germany.... this is truly excellent!
