SUSANNA & HER MAGICAL ORCHESTRA have a new CD out called Melody Mountain.
We only got it on Wednesday cos the distributor and courier are rubbish.
Something we have to regularly put up with am afraid folks. It's a covers album
you know. There are covers of Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Bob Dylan, ACDC, Scott
Walker, Leonard Cohen etc and it's all been produced by ambient evil lord of
doom... Deathprod. Rune Grammofon normally come up with the goods
but we reckon
this is a bit guff. Ironic cover versions done in the most bland and boring way.
I can barely hear the music cos Brian is groaning so much. It's actually adding
to it to be honest. It's a pleasant enough coffee table album to play to your
other friends who are in comas (and if they're not in comas already they will be
by the end of listening to this...). Susanna and The Magikal Snorekestra more like....
