You know you can pretty much rely on the Drag City
label to consistently deliver quality music. Think of their catalogue
over the years, they've been responsible for some ace releases.
David Pajo of Slint / Ariel M, Papa M fame has a new album out on the label.
PAJO
sounds like he's gained loads of life experience and matured somewhat.
It's singer songwriter gear that sounds highly personal and very
considered. Nothing will blow you away on here but there a few strong
tracks and it's probably one of the better thing he's done in a while.
Nothing can touch Spiderland though,
that's a stonker.
