This is the most eagerly awaited thing since living memory. Yep I'm talking about the brand new Sierpinski CD on Jonathon Whiskey
of all things. Yep we've come out of hibernation for one last fling at
the world. Its our first release for 2 years and most likely our last
(unless Sierpinski
want us to do anymore and we'll happily release music by 'em 'til the
cows come home.). The debut album (This Geography of Ours) sold out
quickly and was really well received everywhere as a breath of fresh
air. Three years later they pop in with this sparkly new album which
remarkably is even better than the first! It takes all the great ideas
and that fresh approach they began with & builds heavily on it . A
whole lot in fact. The same ingredients of double bass, cello, drums,
scratchy guitar are there aplenty with poly-rhythmical beats and
electronics. It's all instrumental and if you're a fan of Sigur Ros, Hood, Rachels, Mogwai, Michael Nyman and even Aphex Twin then we think you'll fall in love with this just like we have. The
organic sounds, textures and songwriting is all intact making a most tasty marvellous
musical soup. I can't recommend this highly enough to be honest. We're selling it for
£5.95
as well so folks are prepared to take a chance. Fecking brilliance
