NEiLS CHiLDREN have been described as 'new gothic chamber pop' which is pretty spot on really. I can certainly hear a Robert Smith influence in the vocal. Phillip reckons they sound like XTC and as usual he's pretty on the mark. As with most of this stuff these days there are two 7"s, one of which is on red vinyl and a CD single. The pic of the band on the back remind me of what sixth formers used to look like when I was at school. Proper goths. Now you just get choths, they're chav goths you know.
