New on Disasters By Choice is 'There Is Something In The Universe" which
is an album by Melodium who I'm hearing here for the very first time.
This is an accomplished combination of electronic beats, acoustic guitar, piano etc which is
melodic in places and experimental and weird in others. Some of the beats are
kind of glitchy and there are some tender vocals on a few of the tracks which
become drenched is flange like effects making them sound quite trippy. The album
has a cold wintery feel to it much like the sleeve artwork. Good stuff this.
Love this record? Hate it? Tell us.
