Tunng... Everyone's favourite new folk pop act have their final release on Static Caravan ever apparently as they have moved to new pastures. It's a 1 sided 7" or CD with' Tale from Black' plus video (ie enhanced). Both formats are limited and once they've gone that's it. Oh it's a cover of Bloc Party's 'Pioneers' as well but you probably knew that by now. It works surprisingly well and it's really quite tremendous. Tunng's trademark clicky beats, acousticness and breathy vocals. Brian thinks the vocals sound like Parsley Sound. I've never made that connection before but I can see it now. 100% heartily recommended!

A one sided etched seven inch vinyl record in an edition of 750. Also available is a CD EP that includes the long sold out debut single version of Tale from Black, Pool beneath the Pond, Oh yeah and we chuck in the video for Fair Doreen showcased at Mirror ball in 2005. The Pioneers is Tunng’s unique take on the Bloc Party track. This is a much requested release. Heck what a year 2005 was for Tunng. From the January release of their debut album it’s been a constant spurt of life affirming glue.
