I had a dream about The Bee Gees last night. I think it was because of the
whole Robin Gibb/Westlife and Barry Gibb/Barbara Streisand double pronged
Christmas attack on the charts. It makes you wonder why they didn't get an old
Maurice Gibb vocal and add it to the latest G4 tune for a posthumous hit. I'm
sure he feels a bit left out lying there alone in his grave. Anyway this has
absolutely nothing to do with the latest Joseph Auer CD on Wyrd
Skies. Anyway
this is quite lo-fi sounding electronica that taps into the 808 State/early
Orb
brand of drifty neo danceable melancholy. There's hints of Aphex Twin 'Selected
Ambient Works' and I got through the whole thing without saying the words
'chilled out'....damn!
