I think in every single Futureheads review I've ever done I've always
mentioned XTC without fail. I haven't even put this new single called
Area on and I've already said XTC. Twice now! I've heard this a few times
and The Proclaimers and Maximo Park really come to mind. It's
catchy anyway and you'll be singing this all the way down to the footie terraces
with pie and pint in hand. That much I can guarantee. There's some really great
bits in this enormous jerk-apopa-thon, perhaps too many cos it's a bit like a
new wave version of Bohemian Rhapsody there's that many. Mama!
