When I was a wee nipper of 16 or so - I did work experience at a bank.
One day I heard an old feller that worked there say 'I just live for t'weekends
now'. I thought it was the saddest and most depressing thing I'd ever heard.
What about the other 5 days!! Well that's what happens I guess once reality hits
and you start getting ground down by everything. So as a result I just cannot
wait for 5.30pm tonight! The reason I'm dribbling on about all this is Hard
Fi's new single is called 'Living for the Weekend'. I quite like their other
singles but this one is a bit straightforward - the kind of pop/rock
dragged out by local radio stations across the country on friday afternoons.
Personally I'd prefer to hear 'Friday I'm in Love'. It comes on 2 CD's and a
7".
