British Whale then....Aside from it sounding like a horrendous new
wave of british heavy metal band name it's Justin (Steven) Hawkins
from The Darkness covering a Sparks song. Which some of you may
find utterly sacrilegious. Me... I've never really heard much Sparks but
I have a feeling I'd want to punch Hawkins if I was a fan. This is early Queen
style operatic metal with a huge nod towards pop. I think it's something to
do with some forthcoming film/ series about darts? I'm not really that
interested in darts. The danger element when yr drunk and throwing darts around
at your friends is fun but making a living out of it? lunacy.... The B side is
utterly hilarious 80's style synth pop metal and sounds like it should have been
used in Team America World Police (go and see it cos it's hilarious...). Now
there's an excuse to make another Team America film. Possibly the only good
thing about this record.
