Devendra Banhart is a quirky chap indeed. Singing all about little
yellow spiders and whatnots. XL have released a single called Little
Yellow Spider before his new album is due next week The man is clearly bonkers,
listening to his music. I've never heard anyone mention crabcake in a song
before and I'm pleased someone has finally. It's a good thing which needs
mentioning. It's got a warbly Bob Dylan/ Marc Bolan ish feel to
it. I'd love to meet the guy. Part of me thinks he'd be an utter recluse who'd
speak in a language I couldn't hear and I wouldn't be able to see him either.
He'd be some sort of weird being, but ultimately he's a daft hippy and I like
this lots...
