The Acid Mothers Temple release a triple CD
set (called Do Whatever You Think) of fun packed psychedelic hell. I heard half of CD1 (which is one
58 minute track) and had to turn it off. Harsh..... Starts off nicely
but then it goes on for far too long and it's not interesting enough for
it carry on for 58 mins. Very little is though. If you listen to long
classical pieces of music there's loads going on all of the time. Not
so much on this. I felt fairly scarred from the 1st disc but being the
martyr for my cause I battled on with the 2nd disc which started off all
hippy drippy like (thanks Clint).That didn't last too long either as the
memories of Nam came back to me...... being locked in that room with the
bamboo canes down my fingers. If you like AMT this is probably
great and it's a great scoop for Earworm cos it's gonna sell tons.
Maybe I'm not the best person to write about this as it's known I'm not
a fan but no one else here is (I can hear the gasps) so what's a boy to
do? Personally I'd rather insert sharp things into my eyes than have to
endure this again.
