Wichita (again) have joined forces with Mush (US alt hippety hop label) to bring us a CD by Her Space Holiday. Not very hip hop you'd think and I'd be inclined to agree with you. Though when you look at the list of shiny remixers, namely, The Album Leaf, Arab Strap, Matmos, Super Furry Animals, Dntel, Blockhead, Broken Spindles, Boom Bip, Stereolab and Nobody you really won't give a chuff what label it's on cos it looks a bit tasty. Not really being a big fan of Her Space Holiday's angst, I wasn't looking forward to hearing it. This is one of those cases when the remixers have made the songs sound like themselves so it turns it into a very bearable affair indeed. In fact I'd go as far as to say I really enjoyed this.
