I remember my first induction to the grimy Royal park pub in Leeds' Hyde Park district some 15 years ago. It was to see The Field Mice upstairs in a cramped little room & from the corner three shy boys made a swirling, organic & breathtaking bedroom racket in support of a 10" LP called 'Snowball' they had out on Sarah. In perverse style they played absolutely no tracks from it either. It's been unavailable for years until now & LTM have repackaged the charming 8 song set, augmented with all the tracks from the first 3 singles too (including the Caff one!!) so you know the score!
