Now this is more like it! Professional Welsh mentalist, Gruff Rhys from SFA, has his debut solo nutter-core album out & It's simple, infectious & organic tribal soul music straight from the Valleys. Stripped down, gently layered & hypnotic stuff. All instruments played by his good self just about. You can't argue with the directness & charm of this great 11 song Welsh language set. On Placid Casual in uber-snazzy limited packaging. LP & CD (my LP of the week by the way!!)
