Clint here. First up Savath and Savalas (aka Scott Herren aka
Prefuse 73 aka
musical genius). Well I have to admit, despite sounding as warm as a heated
electric blanket in the summer sun, Savath and Savalas's last full length left
me as cold as a damp dishcloth in Darlington. Here we have a new 12" mini
LP type thing and as usual it sounds bleeding lovely. This time Mr Herren has
added a few killer tunes to the brew and so what you get is pastoral Spanish
vocals backed by chiming guitars, warm horns and the clever tinkering of a
master at work.
