And from old dogs to young pups, new kids on the suburban cul-de-sac, The
Projects, crash land with their debut album, a mere year or so after the
amazing 'Entertainment' 7" blew our minds. This is supersonic indie thrash squelch
& future-retro drama. Like Prolapse having sex with Saloon
then running off with their synthesizers whilst Saloon are in the throes of a
post coital kip. Throw in some itchy post punk disco shapes, fantastic colliding
harmonies & walls of colourful kaleidoscopic sound & some
of the best songs Stereolab were too pretentious to write, then you have
an excellent fledgling effort! On CD thru Track & Field only at the moment
with limited vinyl to follow, this is one to check out for sure!
