A lot has been made of Franz Ferdinand's new single being a bit gay. Oh
there's nothing like a bit of sexual ambiguity to get tongues wagging. Maybe
he's singing about Princess Michael of Kent. Why is she called Michael anyhow?
Anyway its a decent enough tune but definite third single territory and no 'Take
Me Out' no matter what Brian might try and tell you. There's a decent B side to
this on the CD and a German (?) version of 'Tell Her Tonight' on the other CD
there's a couple of decent-ish non album tracks (note:the track 'Missing You' is
not the John Waite classic of the same name). The 7" has a remix of
'Michael'. One other point - my mum doesn't like them. She's tried but she
thinks its his voice she doesn't like. She does think that they seems like nice
enough lads and wishes them every success.
