”Let’s Grow Together – The Comeback of St Thomas” is Thomas Hansen’s first release for the Track & Field label. Recorded in Norway in the middle of nowhere over just four days, the LP features13 songs about one-night stands, growing up in 70s Norway and bus rides in the USA. This is the sound of Norway’s urban cosmic cowboy.
The most striking point about “Let’s Grow Together” is its purity - a man pouring his heart and soul into his craft. As Thomas himself admits, he is not a textbook musician. But his strength is that he means every second of it. With such depth and spirit, it doesn’t matter how technical you are. A lo-fi production like this can go a long way.
