Now what I wasn't expecting was Bearsuit to have stumbled into those
very same ideas on the way to the planet speedthrashdeathwhimsy. And guess
what? They stuffed 'em all in their cute furry backpacks, giggled &
skipped all the way back home to Cutesville (tm) & chucked them into
the enormous vat of madindiespanners they were cooking to make their debut
full length. It's called 'Cat Spectacular' & if Peel hasn't played
this 10 times in It's entirety already then I'm Zane Lowe (Barf!) Imagine Heavenly,
The Polyphonic Spree, early Delgados, Novak & Blur
put in a
big spangly blender to make a crunchy delicious indie smoothie then this
is the result. Only Bearsuit are allowed to be this charmingly twee
without getting a slap these days. Marvellous. CD only (at the mo? Who
knows?)
