Next The Cribs who are from Wakefield and have their debut album out
on Wichita. Well I don't know what's going on with the first song
here. Its kind of a jokey, hokey Beat Happening thing. Thankfully
its a minor blip as the rest of the LP is a high octane energetic pop rush
in the style of Ash meeting The Strokes. Good stuff all
round - sounds a bit like a few 80's bands -a bit like Orange Juice or
someone. A whole bag of fun - just skip past that first track.
