Bizarre headfuck compilation of the erm....year? is the new Blisscent
compilation called, snappily, II. That's because there was one before,
see? The only bands i've heard of are Scarling, Hopewell & The Meeting
Places and their brand of future-shoegazing never sounded finer. The
first track is just plain bizzare in a 'what the fudge is THIS doing on
here??' Kinda way but persevere & you will be rewarded with a vast
array of quality, varied tunes from various hopefuls. Shades of Jeff
Buckley, My Bloody Valentine & erm...Pusherman (remember
THEM??) across the 15 tunes. It really sounds about 10 years old does
this!
