Random surprise for me this week is the new single by Pretty Girls
Make Graves who I've never really heard before but deliver full
throttle, tight & angular indie rock with sassy female vocals &
great tunes to boot. Like a sort of intense soundclash between Sleater-Kinney
& very early Throwing Muses. 'This Is Our Emergency' is out on
4 track CDs with the 7" following a week later. All the tracks are
ace too! Thru the fine Matador label. Bring on the album!
