On a similiar tip is the new Manitoba album which sounds much
more Fourtet-ee than the last one. If you want an indication of
what yr getting it's something like Fourtet having eaten Sun
Ra and then being eaten by a bloody great big My Bloody Valentine
monster. That make sense? Big crashing beats, shoegazey washes and some
mad sax at times 'n all. Always hated saxaphones but I can cope with it
when it's mental and not making any sense at all. He's a talented guy
this fella and if you like Fourtet you'd like this. Summery, uplifting,
warm... makes you feel good. Like being in love but without the commitment.
Up In Flames is totally lush....
