Next up. My Morning Jacket with Sweatbees (their first single on Wichita
) which seems to be a compilation of stuff previously released on Darla,
Jade Tree and Badman. This lot have recently been hyped
to hell by the NME and for once it is justified. They write really melodic
heatfelt pop songs and the singers voice seems to be on a piece of elastic
as it streches and swoons all over the place. Bit of Neil Young here
bit of REM plus bits of Songs Ohio and Black Heart Procession
as well.
