'Flashbacks' is the third album from Leeds-based quartet, The Lodger.
Following a series of well-received 7" singles on a variety of independent labels such as Angular Records and Dance to the Radio, debut album 'Grown-Ups' was unleashed worldwide in June 2007, to a warm reception.
This was swiftly followed by the band's second record, 'Life Is Sweet', released in May 2008 by various labels across the globe, including the legendary Slumberland Records in the US, and coincided with tours of the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA, plus festival appearances.
Produced by Richard Formby (Wild Beasts, Spacemen 3), 'Flashbacks' features an additional ensemble of seven cohorts and co-conspirators, increasing the quartet's scope further with the use of orchestral instruments and more detailed arrangements. The music brings in strings, horns and layered backing vocals. We hope you like it.
