In this week is a bunch of CD's from Imaginary Nonexistent Records. Which I assure you exists (boom boom...)... They're a Spanish label we've not stocked before but it seemed like interesting gear so we got a bunch in. It's ran by Monoceros (of Expanding Music fame) and the bits I've heard sound lovely. More specifically 'I Feel Apocalyptic Today' which is what I'm listening to right now from the head honcho himself the lord Monoceros. He's moved on from the clicky melodic electronica somewhat, as there's elements of electro-acoustic going on here and at times a few of the tracks sound a bit like when Hood went a bit electronic (circa Cold House). It's reasonably pastoral sounding and immediately good on the ear. It doesn't meander... it stays focused and through the album I was kept hostage by it's general suave-ocity. Not sure if that is a word but it is now.... We're reviewing a few of the titles that have arrived but sticking sound clips up for all of it so check it out ladies and gents. PS it comes in a lovely sleeve too...

Love this record? Hate it? Tell us.
