First up we've 'In this nest we found our winged tales' a modestly sublime remix project presented by Mu-nest, a Malaysian label fascinated with all things electro-acoustic. Paired into groups of five, Mu-nest artists and collaborators have been set the task of remixing each others work. The artists share a lot in common and seem very comfortable with each others material. So we have ethereal vocal ambience and subtle interplay of woodwind with acoustic guitar courtesy of Aspidistrfly and Haruka Nakamura, glitch-crazy bliss from Hearts + Horses and Aus, wonky space vs nature tones from Me:mo and Akira Kosemura, the pure bedroom ambience of Dom Mino and Frederico Durand as well as ambient sonic experimentalism of Flica and FJORNE. The music contained within this cd is crafted with great care and attention to detail and should treated thusly. For fans of Margo, Labradford, mum, Hood and of course the artists featured on the record.
