Sneaky Sound System will release their self-titled UK debut album on 20th April 2009 through 14th Floor Records.
The album will include current UK single 'I Love It', which holds the record for the longest charting single in Australian history at 73 weeks, as well as former Radio 1 Record of the Week 'Pictures' and live favourite 'UFO'. It will also feature the track 'It's Not My Problem', the Stuart Price/Thin White Duke remix of which will be released as a single on 7 June.
Price offered his services after Brandon Flowers from The Killers raved to him about the band, and thus sealed the latest in a long line of collaborations for Sneaky. Vocalist Miss Connie appears on several tracks from Kanye West's 'Graduation', and the band's bassist Jonno Sloan co-wrote Empire Of The Sun's album, including the track 'Walking On A Dream'. Sneaky also contribute a track to Tiesto's new album, and have been invited to support him at Get Loaded in the Park.
Sneaky Sound System are Sydney trio Miss Connie (Connie Mitchell), Black Angus (Angus McDonald) and MC Double D (Daimon Downey). Their origins lie in the hugely successful club night 'Sneaky Sundays', whose guest DJs have included Tiga, LCD Soundystem and Hot Chip. In Australia, their new album '2' has debuted at the top of the album chart. This follows the success of their first album, which has now gone triple-Platinum and spawned four hit singles. They've also won four ARIAs (the Aussie version of The Brits). Following a sold-out headline tour of the UK in March, including London's Shepherds Bush Empire, Sneaky will return in June for a series of festival dates, including Isle of Wight, Rock Ness and Wireless.
