Dananananaykroyd have finally got around to knocking out a full length record and boy i'm ready for a brawl! So here it is....pioneering, self proclaimed 'Fight pop' all packaged up in beautiful Keaton Henson artwork and ready for you make an investment. 'Hey Everyone' includes alot of previously released material so i'm sure you'll be familiar with alot of the tracks but don't let it distract away from the fact that this an accomplished, enthusiastic and totally awesome release from these Glaswegian 'Fight stars'! It's four part recipe thats guaranteed to please. one Part old school hardcore, one part stadium rock, one part emo and the final part, classic scuzzy glaswegian indie rock. Guitars duck and weave looking for an opening, drums are pummeled remorselessly by what sounds like ten Dave grohl's, vocals are possessed with rage and the whole thing stinks of youthful enthusiasm. I know these dudes and they really are as enthusiastic as they sound, full of youthful bravado and genuine lust for rocking out. I've seen pits go wild with 'fight pop' madness and i reckon they've really captured the heart of that in this debut full length release. Good stuff. Check it out.
