We've had a few CD's in by Flica who are one of the few Malaysian artists we sell. I think he's quite possibly the only Malaysian artist we sell! Here's his new album on Schole called Nocturnal. As you possibly know Schole do the more twinkly floaty drifty side of things with micro electronics, pianos and the such. This is pleasant pretty music which could appeal to a lot of people given the chance! Largely consisting of piano over electronic twinkles and tiny beats. It's all very chill out with a slight whiff of Cafe Del Mar.

What their label says...

This is the seventh release on Akira Kosemura’s Schole Records who also runs a music and art magazine under the same name.
Few electronic devices plus a laptop are the instruments used by Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia artist Flica aka Euseng Seto.
“Noctural” is his second album which flirts with Yoshio Machida’s ambient and the delicates keyboards of Lulatone.
The music is laid-back, soft rhythms and on top of that, fine piano notes with a remarkable parsimony.
“Noctural” flows into the brain and create an enchanting mood.
