We had a couple of CD's in a while back by The American Dollar. Here's their new one which cost us more than the previous releases due to the American Dollar (not the band). Their new CD is called 'A Memory Stream' and it's more of the same epic post rock with lots of Sigur Ros and some Morr Music indie friendly electronics chucked in here and there. It's instrumental so that will please you post rock heads who hate the human voice. I can't even listen to myself think anymore. I got some ear plugs for me brain so I don't have to hear my ludicrously banal thoughts. All I can think of now is what I want to eat for lunch tomorrow. These folks seem like a competent bunch and they write some decent sounding (but possibly a bit predictable) sounding post rock with lots of piano in. If you're clammering for more though and many of you are, then check it out as it's a decent listen and the best out of the 3 I've heard by 'em.

What their label says...

"Using drums, keyboards, guitars, and various other percussion instruments, John Emanuele and Rich Cupolo weave richly textured melodies in between cascades of drums, synths, and sparse organ notes, creating a sound that puts them on par with bands like The Album Leaf or Explosions in the Sky. Whether a track contains a lush, ambient-interlude feel or a sweeping explosion of chords, emotion runs high on this disc." - Jennifer Marston, XLR8R

"EVERY song on this cd is different, interesting...each song evokes an emotion that's introspective, artistic, and again, this isn't a rock record, it's more an art piece, background music, or a film score, but don't misunderstand that reference, this cd is still cool as shit!" - Rock and Roll Experience
