Got the latest Reverb Worship CDr in. This one 'Goabdesaijigge' is by Siddhi and it is the second for the label. Shamanic rituals are the score here with this long heady, hypnotic meditative piece. I particularly like the percussion on this deeply atmospheric beast with it's bells and cymbals. I imagine a peyote trip in the desert and being taken away by the earth spirits into the netherworld and then back to earth. You'll either find this fascinating or a load of hippy crap. I actually think its rather smart. Ltd and numbered of 53.

You may recall that Siddhi had a previous release on Reverb Worship entitled "Whispering Wood" which sold out very quickly.Siddhi are the italian duo of Delfo Catania and Elena Mandolfo.This new recording was made at home in July 2008."Goabdesaijgge" is one wonderful long shamanic track which features voices by Mariaelena Catania.The title of the cd is a Saami word meaning "time of drum" which refers to the pre christian time when a drum was used in shaman rituals.
