That pesky Reverb Worship label have sent us some more cute CDrs full of boundary testing sounds and mine has a fossil gracing the front & is by Ammonites. 33.3 it is named. Since when did vinyl go decimal? Oh, er probably when the CD nicked it's place in the public conscience. Phil's new posh bitch headphones are quite the ticket for listening to this. Track 1 has me picturing an ominous monotone UFO organ hovering eerily over the sound of a digitized trickle of water down a lengthy cyber pipe whilst all manner of juddering proggy spacerock effects shoot across the bruised intergalactic sky. Track 2 is just some plaintive 2 note guitar and laptop glitch. The other tracks won't work on this shagged old computer so here the review terminates.....NEXT!

What their label says...

This is the first of my three new releases. Its the debut recording by Ammonites and called "33.3".The band comes from Whitby in North Yorkshire. They have created five tracks of wonderful music which shows off how truly talented and creative they are.The music has a meandering ambient drone like quality which utilizes field recordings of streams, childrens voices and what sounds like a marching band playing in a procession.
