A slightly confusing release next but between Phil and myself we reckon we've sussed out what's happening. 'Fuxa Commits Suicide' we think is Fuxa doing a version of Suicide's all time classic 'Cheree' along with peeps from Galaxy 500 and Sonic Boom of Spacemen 3 plus the man Martin Rev himself. It's an incredibly faithful version using loads of analogue gear including the Wem copycat which puts a smile on my face. What a cool piece of kit that was. They add a lot of depth to their re-make with some lovely spaced out vibes and the organ loop sounds top. Richard Formby turns in a wicked mix keeping the groove going and stretches it out to over 10 mins long adding a few of his own little tricks and subtle production magic that lift the Fuxa version into new heights of sonic pleasure.
