Onto the 21MG Series on Second Sun Recordings. We have a UK exclusive on these as no one else is stocking 'em so that's your first thing to remember. The 2nd thing to remember is that they're dinky 3" CD's which are all 100% complete ambience. I think we got 10 of these in this week and they're all letter A1, A2 etc... up to G. That's as far as we've got though further installments will be arriving. We don't have time to review every copy buy rest assured this is all beautiful minimal droney ambience as you'd expect from both David Tagg and Brian Grainger who share the series. All packaged in cute 3" plastic cases they're well sexy. Go on, ave a bit.

This disc is a real treat for fans of minimal drone, as it's quite possibly David's most minimal release yet. Bringing to mind images of slight condensation on silver metal from the cool northern air creeping in at night, Metal Box is tonally similar to some of David's drones on No One Came Out Last Night. Simple, still and beautiful.
