Domino Recordings are extremely proud to present the debut album from Lightspeed Champion entitled ‘Falling Off The Lavender Bridge’.·2007 saw the release of two singles for Lightspeed Champion; the beautifully catchy ‘Galaxy Of The Lost’, and the epic ten minute tale ‘Midnight Surprise’.‘Falling Off The Lavender Bridge’ was recorded in Omaha, Nebraska with producer Mike Mogis (Saddle Creek) and features special guest appearances from the likes of Emmy The Great, members of Cursive, The Faint and Tilly And The Wall.·Dev (Lightspeed Champion) has been picking up interest across the board, with his quirky and unique character complementing his beautiful music, and creating an artist that kids love and critics respect and adore.·With his singles, Lightspeed Champion has picked up radio support across the board from the likes of Zane Lowe and Colin Murray (Radio 1), to the more mainstream shows like Jonathan Ross and Dermot O’Leary (Radio 2). ·He has also been featured on Big Brother’s Big Mouth and The Gonzo Show as well as doing Gonzo on tour live dates.·His video for last single ‘Midnight Surprise’ was also selected as Spanking News Top Choice Of The Week on MTV2.·2007 also saw Lightspeed Champion support the likes of Bright Eyes, Tilly And The Wall, Patrick Wolf and Good Shoes.
